I bought this World Tour guitar bag a few weeks ago. It is a very nice made bag and the big front pocket is a nice touch. The padding is ok and all zippers are smooth.
But when I opened the plastic bag I’d found some white stuff on the front of the bag. Looked closer it was some fungus growing on it. Yuck! Fortunately some alcohol wipe took care of it. Otherwise it should earn a 5 stars.

Can a French Horn "gig bag" be used as a Horn case?
I've been searching for cases Gig Bag for my screw bell french horn and I came across some called gig bags that seem really convenient. My only question is does it protect as well as a "case"?

You know you want to get your child a guitar for Christmas. It will help them build confidence and creativity and give them an understanding of music. But with all the choices out there, have you given it any thought which brand you would choose? Not only that, but there are also accessories that you need to buy that go with the guitar.

No matter if you would like to get them an acoustic or electric guitar. There are guitar packs out there for both instruments. Electric guitar packs come with everything your child will need to make a sound including the guitar and amp. Acoustic guitar packs usually come with a strap, gig bag, and other essential accessories. In general, guitar packs are a great value and an excellent way to get a complete beginner started with the instrument.

Behringer Guitar Pack

This pack comes Gig Bag with all the essentials for playing the electric guitar and is a perfect Christmas gift. The pack includes a guitar with a maple neck. It also has three pickups and a vintage style bridge. It also includes the V-Tone GM-108 which is a with a 15 Watt combo amp that has 27 presets for a varied sound. The pack also comes with some picks, a strap, a gig bag, and some how to instructions.

Fender Squire Guitar Pack

Fender is one of those great guitar brands that are an old favorite to beginner and experienced guitarists alike. The Fender Squire Guitar Pack is a guitar starter kit that comes with absolutely everything you need to learn how to play. This includes the Squier Affinity Stratocastor® guitar, a gig bag, a Fender® Frontman 15G amplifier, strap, guitar picks, headphones, instruction book, strings, and a cable.

Ibanez Guitar Pack

Ibanez has two Jumpstart guitar packs, one for acoustic, one for electric. The Ibanez IJV50 Jumpstart Acoustic Guitar Pack comes with the Ibanez V50 acoustic guitar, an electric tuner, gig bag, and a guitar strap. The Ibanez IJS40 Jumpstart Electric Guitar Pack includes the GRX40 electric guitar, the IBZ10 amplifier, headphones, gig bag, tuner, cable, strap, a DVD, an instructional book, picks, and a chord chart.

Choosing a Guitar Pack

Each electric guitar pack comes with a guitar, amplifier, and other accessories that are needed to learn how to play. As someone who is searching for a Christmas gift for a loved one, this is perfect. The guitar requires an amplifier to generate the sound. If you get only the guitar, then you will need to make a separate purchase. This is a simple way to get them started.

The size and general features are fine (zipper, backpack like straps, pocket in the front)but the padding is so thin. It feels like it won’t protect the guitar at all, except against very minor tension or nicks. I think its worth it to get a more heavy duty one if you want to actually protect the guitar. If you just need it for superficial transport, it should suffice.

I bought this bag for an acoustic guitar. It is GREAT! Wonderful construction for a fantastic price! Stylish but not over the top.

    A must buy!

I’m very happy with the quality of this bag and the prompt delivery of the order. the music book/sheet pouch is well made and the bag should protect the instrument very efficiently.

Pretty good for basic storage and transportation of a guitar…I do wish the padding was a bit thicker but the way it is works for basic protection…

I have purchased 3 of these bags from them. The first one was good. The second had a sewing defect and was returned. The third had a rusting backstrap buckle (which I don’t use too often). Overall, the bag protects my guitars well for the price paid. Hope you get a good one!

I needed a bag to put my Schecter Omen in just to store it as I don’t gig; just do studio. But, didn’t want it collecting dust. It’s a very close fit, but it’s all I need. On another note, when I bought this the picture was for the bag but the image during & after purchasing was for clippers. I even told Amazon this and now they’ve changed the image for the product to clippers. Hopefully , if you order this product you won’t get the clippers!

nice padded, fits most electric guitar, double strap concealed when not using, good enough for me.

this case seems to have a good amount of padding although I wouldn’t equate it with a hard cover case. This has been put away as part of a Christmas present so I am hoping it protects well.

Zippers are strong….pockets are just right. Holds your guitar secure. Great buy for the $$. Our local store wanted $20 more!! Go for it.

It’s exactly what I wanted. I just started to learn how to play the guitar and I’s perfect not only to keep the guitar in, but the straps in the back are perfect for carrying the guitar around. What I really like is also the deep pocket, where I keep all my guitar stuff in (strings, picks etc etc)

We purchased two cases – one for our 5 year old and one for our 8 year old. The cases are great! They hold all of the kids’ guitar books and picks. The kids easily carry the guitars on their backs. I would recommend them.

This gig back is all you need for hauling around and protecting your acoustic. It fits my guitar perfectly and has plenty of storage space for picks, tuner, etc… Sturdy construction and proper padding will keep your mind at ease.
